Greetings, Iam a single father of (2) , a daughter 8 yrs. and a son 14 yrs. we are in need of me finding a job to support our house hold that is fastly deminishing away. I lost my job when my 18 yr old son stayed in his home state. I was a independent contractor in the construction industry. I prepared my daughter for school monday thru friday and that includes making sure she gets on the bus and gets off the bus. My 14 yr old son departs to school 45 minutes before his sister and he gets home 30 minutes after his sister. Needless to say this would have been their 18 yr old brother job to help out. I have been with out full time work for over a year now and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting low. Is there a federal aid for single fathers with children ?

I am a single parent in California in transition and I have not been able to get approved for an apartment because I have poor credit. I am currently trying to pay for bills that have went to collections and are now on my credit report. With a grant, I would be able to clear my credit, pay off bills, and purchase a home. I bought one of those grant books. Paid a lot of money for it and now can't figure out how to use it. Every site it suggest just wants me to buy more stuff. Are there any sources online that I can use without buying something else?
My boyfriend and I recently moved out of our parents house and are
trying to make it on our own...We are just running into a bunch of
difficulties since its our first time. We are looking for a personal
grant so that we can fix our apartment up (since we have no furniture)
and to help us pay a few of our utilities to get us started since we
just found jobs and are a bit behind..We are also trying to pay all our
deposits..we are lookin for anything from 5,000-15,000 in grants...any

I retired on disability in 2003. Since that time I have mentored boys ages 12-15 on a part time basis. My van became disabled this year and it is difficult to take my boys to various activities that require extensive driving. A new or used van would definitely aid in the development of these teens socially, culturally, and educationally.
Hello ~ I'm in need of help whether it be pointed in the right direction or whatever. I'm looking for information on how to obtain a Personal Grant for the Government. I have searched the web for information, I keep hitting brick wall after brick wall. Every website wants money to tell you how "you can get free money from the Government." I have always heard, Never pay for something you can get for free, If you need to fork over money it's all a gimick. Besides, I do not have the funds to hand someone so they can direct me into the next brick wall. If I did, then I wouldn't need a grant.
If anyone needs information on my situation I will supply it. It would be a novel if I typed it all out.
My husband and I need a Personal Grant so that we can buy some property and build a house, buy a car and pay off bills. Neither of us are working and we can't find a job. We have bills piling up that we can't pay and we are having to move in with my mother because we have no where to live. We also have no vehicle to be able to look for a job or anything else.
I am a single mother of 2 children. I recieve no child support, although child support is issued, and I am unemployed. I am also getting my type 1 diabeties under control (I almost died last august due to misdiagnosis and my sugar levels were in the 400-500 range) and need a vehicle to get to the doctor and find a job. The jobs in my area are scarce so I need to go to a different county and I have no money.
